SGA Too was
established to
serve the needs of many, devoted to those in mid
management spaces, to share
information with peers in the quest for richer networking and connection to
new futures. The group is comprised
of mid management executives whose primary purpose is to
connect with meaningful roles in the
economy. |

Membership: |
The group consists of
approximately 200 mid level executives. Most are “VP -
Director -Business Unit Manager” level people; about half
are employed, about half are in transition.
Since we are a virtual networking group,
we do not have meetings.
Members are located in North America,
Western Europe, Australia, Japan, etc. Members include
Presidents, COOs, GMs, and Managing Director level
executives with P&L responsibility. CFO, CIO, CTO,
etc. and VP level executives have been associated
with companies in the $10 million revenue
range. Other
senior level titles include CFO, CIO, GM, VP Operations, VP
Sales/Marketing, VP/HR, etc.
Candidates submit resumes;
complete information worksheets, and are interviewed by
phone. Candidates
begin the process by emailing a resume and requesting
membership. |

Jim's experience includes
serving as CEO for durable goods
manufacturing companies in the automotive, appliance, and
building products industries. Jim has
led multiple acquisition and
divestiture teams.
Jim has provided leadership in
international business development, traveling extensively in
the United States and Western Europe, built and operated
manufacturing plants, ran ventures and managed complex
negotiations and business relationships across wide geography
with “Fortune 500” companies. More recently focused on
middle market companies that needed help in restructuring or
diversifying their operations and market position to improve
their competitiveness, and where change management skills
could have the maximum benefit.
Born, raised, and educated in
Texas. Degree in Business Management from Texas A&M
University. In 1992 completed the Executive Management
Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of
Business.
Prior to these assignments,
Jim served in a number of general management roles with a
strong emphasis on business development, operations, venture
management and corporate strategy. Have a unique
combination of skills that include business and “change
management” leadership, engineering, technology, and strategic
planning.
